宮城峽Single Malt Whisky，在自然環境的酒廠內用蒸汽加熱蒸餾釀製，是竹鶴政孝經過多年尋訪後所決定的第二座蒸餾場地點，，位於日本仙台市郊，接近官城峽縣，當地興建了很多蘇格蘭傳統曾架式的儲酒架，利用此地較高濕度的優勢，幫助酒液釀製更成熟。
廣瀨川和新川，被茂密的森林包圍，有著優質的水源與合適的濕度與溫度。
1969年建成的官城峽酒廠，有麥芽威士忌用的單式蒸鎦機，有谷物威士忌用的連續式蒸鎦機，在這裡釀造的麥芽威士忌，和具有跟酒味濃烈的余市威士忌是完全不同的風味，屬於低地風格的纖維圓潤風味。

Miyagikyo Single Malt Whisky is brewed by steam heating in a natural environment. It is the second distillery location decided by Taketsuru Masataka after many years of searching. It is located in the suburbs of Sendai, Japan, close to Kanjokyo Prefecture. Many traditional Scottish wine racks have been built locally, taking advantage of the higher humidity here to help the wine mature.
The Hirose River and Shinkawa are surrounded by dense forests, with high-quality water sources and suitable humidity and temperature.
The Kanjokyo Distillery, built in 1969, has a single distiller for malt whiskey and a continuous distiller for grain whiskey. The malt whiskey brewed here has a completely different flavor from the strong Yoichi whiskey, and has a fiber-mellow flavor of the lowland style.
